Coronavirus – What You Need to Know

Coronavirus – What You Need to Know

Issued 19th March 2020

We are committed to keeping our guests and team safe, informed and supported.

For now, we are currently open for business as usual and are working hard to give you a friendly, clean and professional photo booth experience. We'll let you know if this changes.

Above all we want you to enjoy your event and experience spent with us. Following the announcement on Monday 16th March, we're responding to the latest Government guidance. With immediate effect to give our scheduled bookings the most flexibility, we are allowing customers to reschedule their current dates to dates any time between now and the end of 2021 with no charge incurred. The booking can be moved to any available date and can be amended up to 3 times. If, however, you cancel your booking the standard cancellation policy applies. It's really important to us that any and all guests using our service feel comfortable in doing so. For this reason, we have decided to stop the supply of any props with our photo booth packages indefinitely.

We all have to take sensible precautions following the latest Government health and travel advice. We are proud of services and have taken on additional cleaning protocols. We would ask that if you are at an event you follow the latest advice on hygiene and hand washing, and self-isolation at home for 14 days if you, or any of your party are displaying any symptoms. Photo Booth Hire Times

Photo Booth Hire Times

When it comes to events, timing is everything. A well-executed event needs a well thought out plan!

Your party, wedding or Christmas party will have a time frame. This is usually pre-determined by the times you have hired your venue for.

Event timing for your vendors consists of three main sections: set up time (bump in), event time and pack down time (bump out). For event logistics to run smoothly, you need your suppliers to work in harmony with your venue’s requirements.

Venue requirements

Remember to check with your venue how much time they allow prior to your guests’ arrival (i.e. the official start of your event) for set up. Just because Aunty May is doing the centrepieces doesn’t mean someone at your venue will be available to let her in at 7am! Your venue is sure to have guidelines your other suppliers will need to work within. Don’t forget that venue staff work into the wee hours and there may not be someone present at your venue for set up requirements until late morning or even early afternoon.

5 School Prom Photo Booth Hire Musts.

School prom photo booth

With up to 95% of UK schools now organising sophisticated events to mark the end of the final term and with the average spend per student in the region of £244 it is vital that the organisers of the school prom make it an unforgettable experience.

Many proms now include the hire of a school prom photo booth and with the expectations of students rising year on year it is vital to get the attention to detail absolutely spot on.

In this article I will give you the top 5 questions you must ask your provider when looking to hire a school prom photo booth.

1. Size of Your School Prom Photo Booth

Most students are a gregarious lot at parties and the school prom is no exception, from arriving at the prom in group limos to congregating outside in small groups they will without doubt want to crowd in into the photo booth. You must therefore ask you supplier how big the school prom photo booth is and how many people it will hold, safely.

The average school prom photo booth is an oval shape and will hold a max of 3-5 students. However there are other shape booths on the market i.e BUBBLES Party Booths which with their shape maximise the internal space and will safely hold 8-10 students.

2. Strength of Your Booth

It is not surprising that the school prom see students get quite excitable. It is after-all one of those once in a lifetime experiences and one in which many will want to impress. So linked very closely to the size of the booth you will also need to ensure the it is built from the right materials and sturdy enough to hold groups of excitable youngsters.

With many proms being held in local hotels or attractions it is also important to ensure that the  photo booth you hire for the school prom complies to their fire safety requirements. All Inflatable booths with the seal of quality use only Oxford cloth and are the safest on the market. Don't be fooled by plastic booths, not only do they look bad they are dangerous.

3. Social Media Capability

It will come as no surprise that the students love the fact that some school prom photo booths can post the photos directly to Facebook from where they can share and tag the photos they appear in. It is therefore important to ask your booth provider about their social media capabilities and whether a live facebook upload is possible.

Also remember to ask you venue if an internet connection is possible either via a wired ethernet link or via WiFi.

4. Fun Props

A big part of the school prom is about dressing up and this extends to the fun of the photo booth. Ask your booth supplier if they include free fun props for your students to wear in the booth. The type of props would normally include hats, masks, feather boa’s and wigs.

5. Photo Printouts.

With all the time and effort that goes into organising a school prom you will want to make sure that the photo’s your students get will form a lasting memory of not only the event itself but also of the time at your establishment. With our photo booths you will be assigned a graphic designer to make sure your print outs fit with your theme and will leave a lasting impression with your gu
